Terms of Service for Quantify

1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Quantify you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

2. What Quantify is
Quantify is a tool for organizing and visualizing personal financial information. It lets you record income, expenses, assets, debts, savings goals and cryptocurrency positions, and calculates indicators from the data you enter.
3. What Quantify is NOT
Quantify is not financial, tax, accounting or investment advice. Calculations, projections, estimates and insights shown are informational estimates based solely on the data you enter. They are not professional recommendations and do not replace consulting a certified advisor, accountant or attorney.
Quantify does not execute financial transactions. The app does not buy, sell, swap or transfer assets of any kind. It does not custody funds, access your bank accounts, or sign transactions on your behalf.
Quantify is not a financial intermediary or brokerage. We are not authorized to, and do not intend to, operate as a financial institution.
Decisions you make based on information shown in Quantify are entirely yours and at your own risk.
4. Your account
Creating an account is optional: you may use Quantify indefinitely without registering, in which case your data stays only on your device.
If you create an account:
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You must provide a valid email address and verify it.
- You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
5. Subscriptions
Quantify offers free features and optional paid plans.
Billing. Subscriptions are processed through App Store or Google Play, depending on where you downloaded the app. Juan Pablo Arellano Elizalde never receives or stores your payment details.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before expiry. The renewal charge applies within 24 hours before the current period ends.
How to cancel. You may cancel anytime from your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the paid period ends.
Refunds. Refunds are governed by the policies of the relevant store, not by Juan Pablo Arellano Elizalde. Request them directly from Apple or Google.
Price changes. If we change prices, we will notify you in advance. Changes do not affect a period already paid.
Lifetime purchases. Where we offer a one-time payment, it grants access to the included features for as long as the application remains in operation. It is not a guarantee of perpetual operation or that future features will be included.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Quantify for illegal activity, including money laundering or tax evasion.
- Attempt to access other users' data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code.
- Interfere with the app or its servers.
- Automate access with unauthorized tools.
We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms.
7. Third-party links
Quantify includes links to decentralized finance protocols and other external services. Tapping them takes you out of the app to operate directly with that third party.
We do not control or answer for those services. We do not verify their security, availability or terms. Their use is governed by their own terms, not these.
If at any point we receive a commission on transactions originating from these links, we will disclose it visibly within the app.
Cryptocurrency risk. Operating with digital assets carries risk of total capital loss. Prices are extremely volatile and blockchain transactions are irreversible. Quantify displays information and links; the decision and the risk are yours.
8. Security of your keys
Quantify stores only public cryptocurrency addresses, which are read-only.
We will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. If any app, site or person requests them, it is a theft attempt. Whoever holds those keys can irreversibly drain your wallet.
9. Your data
Handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
You are responsible for keeping backups. Although we offer cloud backup, we do not guarantee permanent service availability or recovery of lost data.
10. Intellectual property
Quantify, its code, design, brand and content are property of Juan Pablo Arellano Elizalde. The financial data you record is yours and you can export it at any time.
The name "CASHFLOW" and the game of the same name are registered trademarks of their respective owners. Quantify is an independent development inspired by the concept of a personal financial statement, with no affiliation to those marks.
11. Availability and changes
We strive to keep Quantify available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features.
If we permanently discontinue the service, we will give reasonable advance notice so you can export your information.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Juan Pablo Arellano Elizalde shall not be liable for economic loss, data loss, lost profits or indirect damages arising from the use of Quantify, including financial decisions you make based on information the app displays.
Our total liability in any case shall not exceed the amount you paid for the application in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights granted to you by applicable law that cannot be waived, including consumer rights.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will notify you within the app. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Jalisco, Mexico, without prejudice to consumer rights applicable in your place of residence.
